Stops, hikes, and travel time from Fortaleza to João Pessoa

Hello, we’re arriving in Fortaleza on February 14, 2027, and planning to rent a car to drive to João Pessoa in two stages. We’ll leave from there on the 20th or 21st to head to Rio. Our questions: - Which stop between Fortaleza and João Pessoa would be the most enjoyable? - How long does it take to drive from Fortaleza to João Pessoa? - Are there any easy hikes (no guide needed) around João Pessoa?
