Biking in Côte d'Ivoire from Abidjan to Abengourou via trails: safety, sights to see

Hi there, I’m planning to bike to meet some friends in Côte d’Ivoire in early November. I’ll be starting in Abidjan and heading to Abengourou, which is close to the Ghana border. I’d like to take the trails. Does anyone have recent info on eastern Côte d’Ivoire? Any tips, safety advice, or must-see stops? I’m open to all suggestions. Thanks in advance for your help! Fx
