First MSC Euribia Yacht Club experience

Vivement2010 · 2026-10-24 · Message 1 of 16

Hello everyone! Just a little backstory—my username comes from the year I took my first cruise. Sixteen years and nine cruises later, I’m currently on my 10th, this time in the Yacht Club interior. I’m taking you along with me!

Left Marseille on Wednesday, October 21st. After train troubles (issues on the Paris-Marseille line), then getting lost at La Joliette—years ago, I’d taken the metro and the port bus, thinking I had to go left once near the port, but no, the little gate is on the right after the shopping center.

Wait, she took the metro and bus to the Yacht Club? Yep! After waiting 15 minutes for the shuttle, once the bus dropped us off, it was a 15-20 minute walk to the ship. Finally, we made it to the boarding dock. Headed toward the little Yacht Club flag, where a nice young woman checked our IDs and gave us luggage tags. She walked us through security (we got to skip the line). After that, we went to the Yacht Club lounge, where two butlers were waiting. They offered us drinks, and a third person arrived to check passports and handle registration. Then, they gave us a form to pick a complimentary bottle—I didn’t do it right away. I felt a little rushed by everyone. I’ll explain more later in my story. Today, we’re in Barcelona. A few photos to come in the meantime.

Welcome aboard to both of you! We continue the journey. Once all the formalities were done, we were escorted to the ship, heading to the meeting point and then to the 16th floor in the Yacht Club area. Again, we felt a bit overwhelmed. It was almost like they pounced on us. A welcome drink, explanations about the Yacht Club, suggestions for specialty restaurants, and finally, we were escorted to our room. Looking back, all of this was great—I realize it was all done with good intentions. But after a 2-hour train delay, then the metro, and for those who know Marseille, walking to the embarkation quay, I would’ve loved to just relax and enjoy it all.

Well, once we were in our room, the vacation finally began. Off to the buffet on the 18th floor at the Yacht Club. The restaurant closed at 1:30 PM, and we arrived at the Yacht Club at 1 PM.

Hi, After the meal, we headed to visit the ship. Unfortunately, I filmed a lot, And as you can see, I'm new to writing reviews, so go easy on me for that and the spelling mistakes 😅 The second photos are of the Yacht Club restaurant.

The spa is included in the Yacht Club package. Pure bliss—I tried it Thursday and Friday. Third photo: the 6th floor. The champagne bar is on the 7th, I think. The indoor pool. Tomorrow, I’ll enjoy my last hours on this amazing ship and its staff—absolute sweethearts.

Following that, After visiting the boat, we went back up to the yacht club—wow, what a peaceful vibe! Preparing for the meal, which was delicious, then back to the room with a little surprise: a bottle of water and a chocolate on the nightstand. The next day, after breakfast, we headed to the spa where we stayed for about an hour, then explored Genoa on foot and took a ride on the funicular. Back on the boat—it was too late for the restaurant, so we ate at the buffet. Then a quiet afternoon on the boat. That evening, another surprise awaited us: fruit and, once again, a little bottle of water and a chocolate. Dinner at the restaurant that night. The next day was a sea day. To be continued...

Day at sea We had a meet-up at 9 AM at the spa because we were told we needed to book as it might get crowded. We did the right thing because people started arriving just as we were leaving—it was still busy for a while. This day was 95% at the Yacht Club. Peaceful and quiet. From 4 PM to 5 PM, there was a Tea Time. A really pleasant moment with a pianist. In the evening, we went to the main buffet and ate in our room (we could’ve had it delivered, but we preferred to go down). We were a bit wiped out, and it was truly a chill day. The next day: Barcelona.

So, for those who have never been to the Yacht Club and are hesitant because it’s expensive—yes, it really is… but is it worth it? 1000 times yes! You get top-notch service that, even after watching videos and such, I didn’t expect to be *this* good. For my package, I booked an interior cabin for two on a mini-cruise departing from Marseille. My start was a bit rushed because I boarded late. But once you’re in the Yacht Club and go down to the other decks, you immediately notice the difference—the noise level, the little attentions. Not being used to this on a cruise, I can tell you there were moments I felt overwhelmed. When disembarking, your butler accompanies you. Same for the theater. When reboarding, you have priority and are escorted as well. Once inside the Yacht Club, the staff is constantly checking in to see if you’re okay or need anything. You don’t have to worry about a thing. I thought I’d find snobby clients. Honestly, people are there to relax and have a good time. Did I like it? No—I *loved* it. I totally get why some people only travel Yacht Club, and I envy you! 😊 Would I do it again? Of course, but for a full week—so start saving up, not like the money I lost at the casino last night! 😜

Next time, though, it’ll be with my husband. This time, I was with my daughter—it was a gift for her 18th birthday. She didn’t want a party, so I came up with this idea, and honestly, no regrets. The Wi-Fi, mini-bar, premium package, spa, and the staff—so adorable at every level. This is getting long, sorry, but I’m really sad to leave this beautiful ship. The only thing I didn’t like was the Aurea area.

That’s all for now! More photos of the ship coming in the next few days or once I’m on the train later. Thanks to those who read this all the way through! And if anyone wants to chat in private, feel free! If you have questions about the ship, I’d be happy to answer, just like others did for me about other destinations in private messages. See you soon!
