Silk Road Mountain Race Project, Kyrgyzstan
Hello,
I’m considering applying for the next edition of the Silk Road (Let’s go crazy 😜). Nothing’s certain, of course—I think there’s a lottery for anonymous applicants. I’m 67, and my goal is to take part and go as far as possible, without necessarily finishing, let alone making it within the time limits. I already know Kyrgyzstan from cycling there before. The area’s tough, but the landscapes and vibe are stunning. I’m open to any advice or suggestions. Also up for a race partner (as a duo or solo). I live in the Monts du Lyonnais and train daily.
