Is March a quiet time to visit the Philippines?

Hi there, We’re thinking of spending a month in the Philippines at the end of February and the beginning of March. What’s the tourist crowd like during that time—is it super busy? We’re not really used to booking accommodations, transport, etc., in advance. Thanks in advance!
