Website for a RTW trip

Hi fellow travelers,

We're leaving for a round-the-world trip in April and we'd love to share it with our parents, friends, and other travelers. We want to create a website where we can upload photos and provide useful info. However, we're not exactly tech-savvy 😕. We still have two months to get things ready.

Would you have any tips for creating such a site, assuming we'll need to update it from internet cafés?

Hi,

If you just want to upload photos quickly, all you need to do is create a Yahoo account.

Then go to "Photos" on the Yahoo homepage.

From there, you can upload quite a few photos.

Just remember to keep the originals, since Yahoo automatically reduces their size to save space.

After that, just follow the instructions to make your album public and share the link with your friends and family. Example: http://photos.yahoo.com/portiman

I’m not a tech whiz by any means, but there are tons of sites that let you build your own website in just a few clicks. For example, Lycos has a pretty good tool for beginners.

Otherwise, you’ll find plenty of guides online for taking your first steps in web design, like http://www.philgate.com, but there are loads of others. Personally, I went with this option. Even if the result isn’t amazing, it’s *my* page—so there!
