Hammam in Marrakech

Hi everyone, I’m heading to Marrakech next week and staying at an all-inclusive hotel, but it doesn’t have a hammam. I’m looking for one where we can possibly rent a private section for part of the day because I’d like to go with my wife. If anyone knows a place, thanks!

Thanks for your reply, do you have any idea about the prices and is it a traditional hammam or something very modern? Best regards

Good evening, This is a modern hammam in a hotel. The base price is 250 MAD per person (additional treatments extra). For the rest, you should budget around 300 MAD per person. Examples include Ex Hammam Ziani, Hammam Mille et Une Nuit, etc. Generally, there are two separate rooms—one for men and one for women. Best regards,

The hammam isn't rented by the day but by the session you choose: hammam only, hammam + exfoliation, or hammam + exfoliation + 30-minute massage. The whole thing lasts about 1 hour 30 minutes. For the place Spa Riviera, Avenue Abdelrim Khattabi, Guéliz, just after the science faculty; for 2 people it's around 600 MAD. Really nice, very clean, and super friendly, especially for couples. There's also a hair salon, etc.

I go to Marrakech every 2 months and never miss going there, even though my hotel has its own hammam. I much prefer the one mentioned above for its cleanliness, welcome, and prices.

We always go as a couple. If you need more info, don’t hesitate! Have a great trip—we’ll be there at the end of June.

Thanks for your replies, but you're talking about tourist hammams—I'm looking for a traditional hammam that can usually be rented in the evening from 9 PM, after the men's and women's hours, and where the session is negotiated between 100 and 200 MAD.

My wife and I have done this before, but we don’t know of any in Marrakech.

Cheers,

I recommend Les Couleurs de l'Orient—they have a really lovely traditional hammam heated the old-fashioned way, and you can go as a couple. The place is super authentic, but they’re often fully booked. I think you can reserve online, though. Here’s their site: www.couleursdelorient.net. Have a great vacation!

If you're looking for a great spa in Marrakech, I recommend Stella Marrakech. They offer massages, hammam treatments, and a perfect atmosphere to relax. The prices are affordable and the service is top-notch! You can find out more here: Stella Spa gueliz. 🙂
