Réouverture du site d'Havasupai: des nouvelles fraiches

Je reçois ce jour un mail d'Havasupai. Il confirme bien la réouverture du site aux visiteurs pour le 1 mai (demain). D'ailleurs le lodge prenait depuis pas mal de temps des inscriptions. Par contre, des travaux restent à faire, et la cafèt de Supai demeure fermée pour le moment. Mais il semble que la mini épicerie à coté du bureau de poste sera ouverte.
On authorization of the Vice Chairman of the Havasupai Tribal Council, this email is to inform you that Havasu Canyon will be open to visitors effective May 1, 2011. Lodging and camping facilities are available from the Havasupai Tourist Office and the Havasupai Lodge. Please contact Havasupai Tourist Office at 928 448 2121/2141/2180 httourism0@havasupai-nsn.gov and Havasupai Lodge at 928 448 2111/2201htlodge0@havasupai-nsn.gov for availability and reservations. Please be advised that fees are subject to changes and is firm only upon arriva on sitel. For viistors utilizing helicopter services, please contact Airwest helicopters at 623 516 2790 or visit www.airwesthelicopters.com The Havasupai Tourist Office and the Havasupai Lodge can make arrangement for packing horses. Currently, the Havasupai Cafe is closed for renovation. Food and beverages including fresh fruits and frozen entrees are available at the Havasupai Trading Post. Microwave is also available at the Trading Post. Group catering is available. Please contact the Havasupai Trading Post at 928 448 2951 or htstore0@havasupai-nsn.gov for information. Please be aware that Havasu Canyon is a fragile environment and subject to flash floods. Some areas in Havasu Canyon are OFF-LIMITS due to unstable ground conditions and continuing repair work. Immediate closure is possible at any given times during your visit. Visitors to Havasu Canyon assume all risks while in the canyon and should come prepared.
