Bonjour,
Non pas trop, c'est la même chose que "A. CROISIERE" avec pas mal de soucis et surtout des conditions d'annulation pas favorables du tout 😕😕 regarder du coté d'Azur, beaucoup ici passent par eux et sont enchantés😉

Reliable site for cruises?

Yes, it’s reliable—it belongs to the Karavel group, which also includes ABCroisiere.
But there’s also croisieres.fr and okcroisiere.fr, which are reliable too... There are two main groups in France for online cruises: the Cruiseline group with croisieres.fr, croisierenet, and okcroisiere.fr, and the Karavel group. Otherwise, they’re small travel agencies. Generally, these groups negotiate directly with cruise companies for the best deals and perks on the market...

hi
this is misinformation
the cruiseline group is based in Monaco and therefore isn’t governed by French law
cancellation terms are really bad and recourse is extremely complicated 😠
as for OKCROISIERE, I can’t find the general terms and conditions on their site?
could you share them? Thanks

Hi,
As Poupou mentioned, you should book a cruise through a site or agency that has a physical presence in France. As long as there are no issues with agencies outside France, everything is fine, but if something goes wrong, people who booked through these sites or agencies end up complaining on travel forums. The legislation in Monaco, for example, has nothing to do with French law.
A well-informed traveler is worth two.

Hi there,
It’d be great to have some sites where you can find cruises at decent prices and trustworthy agencies for cruise meals. I’m not sure if it’s more or less advantageous to deal directly with the cruise companies.

A good agency has advisors who know and have tested the cruise lines to give you the best advice and guide you toward the right company based on your expectations and priorities.
Of course, you should also check the general terms and conditions, especially the cancellation fees—some agencies really jack them up!
In France, there are reliable agencies like Croisiland, Logitravel, and also MONACRUISE, which has the advantage of not only working with Costa and MSC 😊.
Booking directly with the cruise line is usually a bit more expensive.

Hi, I always go through Croisiland, a France-based agency that has always given me the best rates. They're professional, available, and competitive...

For me, a good agency is above all someone who listens, offers support and contact in case of problems, and has knowledge of cruise lines and ships! A good agency shouldn’t just know MSC or Costa, but other companies too!
They should also maintain a good relationship with these companies (which, in some cases, lets me get my clients out of tricky situations!)
A good agency should be able to ask you about what’s important to you and then match you with the cruise line that ticks all your boxes!
I spend my life visiting ships, going on cruises, attending conferences and forums—so I can honestly and sincerely advise my clients on the best choice for them!

Hi there, we’ve been using croisière-club for years—based in Boulogne-Billancourt—and they always give us the best rates and great advice. Never been disappointed! They sell all cruises and can put together packages with flights, hotels, excursions, etc. Ask for Christiane.

Hi there,
Just sharing our experience—we’ve taken over ten cruises with the operator CROISILAND and are completely satisfied. Our advisor, Chloé, is really friendly.
Plus, they have partnerships with companies that give you discounts.
Happy travels

Good evening,
For years, our travel agency has been MONACRUISES, located in Beausoleil (06).
Cruises and escorted land trips led by the Director.
Best regards,

hi, none with cruiseline—I know them really well since I’m a partner for their catalog. No problem with cancellations, I’ve already cruised with them... they’re available and responsive. That said, I’ve had issues with travel agencies based in France! If you run into any problems with cruiseline, just give me your file number and I’ll pass it along ;)
The T&Cs for okcroisiere are at the bottom of the site:

The cruise line group (Azur Croisières, croisieres.fr, we-croisieres, etc.) obviously lets you cancel without any issue, but they do apply exorbitant cancellation fees.
Everyone can see this by reading the general terms and conditions.

I confirm what Isabelle said—many online agencies are based in Monaco, and cancellation fees are steep, not to mention the service isn’t always up to par.
Like Poupou and jibe2, I go through Monacruise, and Clémence, our advisor, is lovely and efficient.

Hi,
We usually use either the chosen cruise line’s own website, which gives us a reliable contact, or the Vacation To Go site in Houston—maybe the biggest international site—which offers all destinations and all cruise lines. There’s a group of French-speaking advisors who are particularly responsive. Reasonable prices, onboard credit of several hundred USD, low deposit (sometimes only $100–$150), and flexible cancellation terms.
I’m much more cautious about some of the agencies mentioned. I once tried a company based in the south of France—they gave me false information about the visas needed for stopovers in China. Luckily, I didn’t follow their advice; otherwise, we wouldn’t have been able to disembark the ship!
