French-speaking guide for Istanbul?

Dainville · 2012-06-21

Hi there, I’m looking for a French-speaking guide to visit Istanbul for a day on Saturday, July 14th. Could someone please recommend one, possibly with their contact details so I can get in touch before my trip? Thanks a lot to anyone who can help! Daniel

Hi Daniel, First, let me just say that one day in Istanbul is really not enough. What’s your priority for your stay in Istanbul? The mosques? The Grand Bazaar? The Golden Horn? The Bosphorus? The Princes’ Islands? The Galata Tower? Etc... You’re looking for a guide? If you don’t find one, I’d be happy to help. (I’m not a professional guide, but I’ve lived in this city since I was born.) Wishing you a great stay in Istanbul.

Best,

Yucel (yucelgurtekin@hotmail.com)

Thanks for such a friendly reply! I’ll pass it on to my friend Bertrand, who’ll probably get in touch with you. Best regards, Daniel

THANK YOU YUCEL for these 3 days spent visiting this beautiful city of Istanbul! You’re someone you can count on and very punctual. Thanks a lot and see you soon! This will be my 5th time in Turkey this summer, and I can confirm to everyone that it’s a magnificent country. Inshallah!!
