Arrêt du ferry DFDS de Sassnitz (Allemagne) à Klaipeda (Lituanie) dès octobre 2013

Mguibentif · 2013-08-31

DFDS Seaways has announced the suspension of the ferry route Sassnitz (D) - Klaipeda (LT) with effect from October 2013 due to increased losses and costs.

For several years, the ferry Sassnitz - Klaipeda is struggling with financial difficulties. A further reduction of rail traffic is now added. Unfortunately, the efforts of DFDS to win new customers for the route and to improve revenue, were not successful. Therefore the shipping company sees no other option than to set the operating end of September 2013. This traditional rail ferry route was operated by DFDS since in 2001.

All passengers and freight customers can switch to an attractive alternative DFDS connection Kiel - Klaipeda.
