What price should I expect to pay for a modest small apartment or a large room in a bedroom community in Quito? Are restaurants and food expensive? And which airline is best to travel from Montreal? Thanks for your answers

Hi, Quito is still quite affordable compared to many capitals. For a large room or a small apartment in a slightly outlying neighborhood, you can find decent places without blowing your budget, especially if you avoid the overly touristy areas. That said, between a house, apartment, shared flat, or a homestay, the comfort and lifestyle vary a lot depending on what you're looking for. And when it comes to food, if you eat local and at small restaurants, it stays really reasonable :)
