New Blue Air craft-related incident
2005-10-23
An aircraft belonging to Blue Air carrier was involved in a new incident on Saturday. The plane returned at Baneasa airport after one hour and a half of take-off. It was a pilots' decision who had noted a loss of hydraulic oil pressure. Airport sources say that, after the fault was remedied, the passengers were boarded on the same plane Saturday night at around 19:30 h. This time, however, something new appeared and the flight was suspended and rescheduled on Sunday. Blue Air issued a press release stating that the incident with the flight to Spain had been caused by the poor condition of the Baneasa Airport. More exactly, the plane had to return to the airport because of a stone that had entered the undercarriage hydraulic device. Baneasa company representatives say they had not been notified in writing about the incident. The Blue Air management will convene today to make a decision on a possible transfer of their flights from Baneasa to Henri Coanda Airport
