Working as a Psychologist in South Korea

Hi, I’m currently in my first year of high school (ES track) and I’d like to become a psychologist specializing in criminology and victimology (profiler) later on. After or during my studies, I’d love to live permanently in South Korea, but I’m not sure if this profession exists there and/or if it’s recognized?

I mean, when I do searches, I find nothing...😕 I just saw an article mentioning an organization called Vi-CAT that supposedly exists, but I can’t find anything about it online...

I know this conversation is 10 years old, but would you happen to have any info on this? I’m about to finish my psychology degree, and I’m trying to decide between doing my master’s here in France and then moving to South Korea afterward, or going straight to South Korea for my master’s. Is the field saturated, especially for expats? What’s the psychology profession like in Korea? Is it well-paid, and can you work in hospitals or only in private practice?
