Poland: French TV channels in hotels

Hi there, I’d love to know if you can watch French channels like France 24 or Euronews in hotels in Polish cities? Thanks...

Hi, I just got back from Poland, and in small hotels priced at 150 zlotys or less per night, don’t count on it too much...

I stayed at a guesthouse near the train station in Warsaw, and I had the only room with a decoder (with the local Canal+). There was France24, but that was the only French-speaking channel. Then I broke their decoder trying to change the channel like a maniac, so I had to switch rooms. 😇 So don’t count on it too much, except maybe in 3-star hotels—but I can’t guarantee that either.

Thanks! We're doing a tour and staying in 4- and 5-star hotels. We'll see how it goes—I'm bringing my tablet so we don’t get cut off from the world...

hi there, yeah bringing your tablet isn’t a bad idea... otherwise there are a few cybercafés, but you’ll need to be able to find them. I can share the addresses of the ones in Kraków and Warsaw.

Thanks again for the Wi-Fi, no problem—all the hotels have free Wi-Fi, even in the rooms...

Hi! Yes, there’s Wi-Fi in all hotels as a rule. I didn’t have any digital device (tablet, laptop, etc.), but yes, there is Wi-Fi.
