Stopovers with the Costa Magica in Cádiz, Lisbon, and Alicante

Can someone please give me some info on the stopovers in Cádiz, Lisbon, and Alicante? Thanks!!!

For Alicante, it's easy. If you like walking, everything is within walking distance: Santa Barbara Castle, exploring the city, strolling along the beach. We were even able to go for a swim (beach access is also on foot). The stopover is very easy to do on your own and really enjoyable.

In Cadiz, everything is easily done on foot. I recommend eating at the covered market. You pick your fish from the stalls, and they cook it for you right there. In Alicante, watch out for the tourist-train scam: it costs 5 € and drops you off at the exact same spot as the free shuttle! No added value at all. In Lisbon, the MSC quay is close to the port. We took the hop-on hop-off bus (30 € per adult) to tour the city, including the Maritime Museums, Belém Tower, etc. Tickets are sold at the exit of the ship and include a transfer to the starting point of the route in the city center. It’s worth it for a quick overview of Lisbon’s main attractions. But you can’t do everything in a day. If you want to wander through the alleys, you’ll have to do it on foot—so there’s no point in taking the hop-on hop-off bus in that case. The red and blue line buses don’t access those areas. We did the bus in the morning (just the red line) and walked in the afternoon. It’s an easy walk back to the ship from the waterfront.
