Flight to Seville: airline recommendation

Coralie42 · 2017-09-07

Hi,

For those who’ve flown from France (Lyon or Marseille) to Seville before, which airline would you recommend? I’m planning to go for a few days in the spring. Thanks.

Ryanair connects Marseille to Seville. Starting March 26, 2018, the flight frequency will increase from two to three per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). Not everyone agrees, but for me, Ryanair is an excellent airline: the prices are reasonable and punctuality is great.

Hi there,

You can also check out Transavia and Vueling from Lyon with seasonal flights.

Vueling, very good.

It's "low cost" but the same level of comfort as Air France...

Hi there, I recently took a Vueling flight from Porto to Paris... seats were tighter than on Air France...

Hi,

Personally, I don’t like Ryanair and would never fly with them. Sure, the cost is lower, but pilots and staff are paid for a high number of hours... in short, it’s a bit like cheap grapes or strawberries filled with potash. There’s no miracle. No comment. Check out the reviews on this airline.

Use Kayak to compare prices. Air France is very expensive, and for the same—or even better—service, there are airlines from the Gulf, but they don’t fly to Seville.

For Seville, where we’re heading, Transavia and Vueling have the lowest fares, but be careful: If you have checked baggage, you need to plan for it, declare it, and lately, it’s gotten expensive. Have a good trip. See my post above about flight tickets. JP
