Nope. I’m hopeless. I’ve only passed through Portugal four times, always in a rush and not really interested—just a clueless tourist... Ugh, negative again. Someone did warn me, though. 🏴‍☠️

Couldn't agree more—I've only been there twice but wasn't in a rush. It's Guimarães.

Here, another little scoop. In order (I think?) from left to right: Porto: twice the bridge. Tomar: stress after the exam. Porto: the nice little restaurant by the water (or almost). + any excitement in all that? On the other side, had you guessed?

I got the fire on Ribeira Quay and the students too. Plus the metro with its azulejos-style decor.

No way. Did you set the whole city on fire???? Worse than Nero! I took the elevated metro several times too and always messed up buying the tickets!

I think you're pulling my leg a bit... Tomorrow I’ll say "vous" and "thank you, ma’am." Of course not... but maybe I didn’t wipe my binoculars well enough. Toi/Vous... Probably worse than Dac (I do what I can with my very average means).

I find this unpretentious photo exchange really fun. And I’ll keep going with one of my favorites. I must’ve tried a dozen pastries. AND A SHOCKING QUESTION? Who managed to eat their francesinha in one go?

Thanks. I’m sorry, but I can’t follow you on this topic or help you relive your culinary emotions (and hopefully not gastric ones!). When I was terrorizing Europe’s highways (just one total crash in Italy in 2014, with no major impact on my desires), I thought seeing something meant knowing it. And I didn’t really try the beautiful things I encountered. I still have a few worlds and wonderful people left to discover within "reach" of hope. I never explored my many trips to the south—Spain, Portugal, and especially Morocco (I’m thinking of "her," L.)—I never had the time. I was simply happy and carefree there. But in this present where I enjoy being surprised, I’m learning to reflect, sometimes with unexpected help from afar, and it’s... tell me the word, you—whoever you are—who probably lived instead of just passing through. Tonight, my glass of Veltliner isn’t helping things...

It's not very nice of you to test me like this again, knowing you already have the admission and proof that I don’t know anything specific about Porto. But anyway, I think you're a bit off the mark—it’s still about the "quay of mists"... For those who, after sitting through commercial presentations and agreeing to... simply *inhale* (?) all the variations of their beloved nectar, hoping to find the light again, well, they don’t recognize the place where they resurface.

Finding yourself in the mist... I recently had a similar experience in a not-so-different setting... but I came out of it (I think) stronger, not stumbling. A cosmic experience that, for me, still lingers—because there was no malice involved. The gentleness and intensity of light aren’t the same for everyone or at every moment.

Still, I’ll give you top marks: 10/10 for your riddle answer. And as for you, you can just give me a zero—*"I couldn’t care less"* "ça m'est bien égal".

Photography isn’t my strong suit. I’m just a curious tourist drawn to the unusual, a slightly bruised traveler on the path of discovery, someone who’s barely brushed against the subtlety of a mind and the warmth of a soul—and what remains is so much more than a simple memory. If I were a literature professor, I’d say it less crudely.

You must think I’m overexcited! No big deal.

I’d like to make up for my blunders, so... here’s to your memories! > 1. Porto, but which neighborhood? (I’ve forgotten, myself). 2. It’s a famous spot (😮). Bad photo—I was driving one-handed. Tell us what it is!

Hi there! In Portugal, if you didn .t like the food (which is very rare), you probably didn’t look for good restaurants—you can eat well and cheaply here!

Here are a few dishes: Photo 1: cod (bacalhau) – half portion " " " 3: Portuguese cocido – half portion """ 4: roast suckling pig – half portion """ 5-6: Brazilian picanha – half portion Around 15 € per person, but you can find more casual restaurants with a full meal (starter, dessert, coffee, drinks) for 6 €.

Unfortunately, I don’t like cod or Portuguese pot-au-feu, and I’m not a big meat eater, but in Brazil I’d definitely try the picanha.

Sorry, I wasn't quite awake. Thanks. Well, I see you've been to Morocco. Do you still have some photos? I don’t have many, unfortunately, because most of my trips were... during the early days of those mega-gadgets, before apps and all the uploading and downloading... And my first digital Canon broke down among the argan trees.

I forgot your question about "photo 2" > Fatima, three small symbols of purity, an occasional refuge for adults who are probably naive, not too bad, whether believers or not...

I believe you with the francesinha—lucky you didn’t see the rest! The restaurants along the Douro (Cais da Ribeira) Are just for the “suckers” If you go there, not only is it expensive, but you’ll walk under the arcades (before or after the crowd) and see where they cook—you have to see it to believe it... no comment

Morocco for me too, it was before digital. I still have a few not-very-good paper photos and SLIDES......

Guess I'll have to find something else then!
