15-day stay in Tioman in July

Retraite2017 · 2018-04-28

Hi everyone, I’m planning to spend about two weeks in Tioman in July 2018. I’m looking for a relaxing trip, more about walks in a small fishing village vibe than beaches and tourists. Anyone have any tips or good spots to recommend? Thanks in advance to all!

hi Tioman is a really beautiful place, but 15 days there might be a bit too long—you could get bored. 15 days might be a lot

Here’s Juara off-season. Several Europeans stay there for long periods in small "pondoks", cabins. But there’s also a classy hotel. Fishermen: few. Hikes in the mountains with a guide.

Hi Alain,

Could you let us know if you ended up going to Tioman after all? And if so, what did you think of it? Which beach did you stay at, and what accommodation did you use? Do you know any nice spots for snorkeling from the beach? And were you bothered by sandflies?

I’d love any info anyone might have about this island...

Thanks.

Hi. The forum just came back online, and I quickly stumbled upon your 2018 post. We’re also thinking about spending some time in Tioman. Did you end up staying for two weeks as planned? Thanks
