Il y a eu une tentative de bâteau Pattaya - Koh Samui mais à 2000 Bahts la place la moins chère et 14 heures de voyage on comprend que les gens préfère l'avion...Cela dit il existe des croisières luxueuses depuis le port de laem Chabang, proche de Pattaya, qui passe par koh samui.
