Dental care in Cuba

Barifogia · 2018-11-12

Hi there,

My current plan is to get my teeth treated in Cuba, especially for dental implants. Has anyone here had experience and could refer me to a good, affordable dentist? I’d really appreciate it if you could give me an idea of the price for one implant, since I need at least 6 done. Thanks so much!

There have been several discussions on this forum about dentists in Cuba. In Guardalavaca (Holguin), at the Hotel Club Amigo, there’s apparently a very good dentist. However, I have no idea about the prices for implants. Here’s his email address—maybe you could write to him for more info. Several Quebecers go there. Hello again...

I think Miguel in Holguin doesn’t do implants—am I wrong?

Have any of you gone somewhere else in Cuba for this?

I second that—this dentist is excellent but only does routine repairs, not implants. For implants, you’d need to go to Cira Garcia in Havana. I haven’t had any treatment there, so I can’t vouch for the quality of their implants. Is it better in Mexico for the type of implants and care?

But in Guardalavaca, believe me, this dentist is excellent.
