Stopover in Agadir: where is the cruise terminal?

Hi Jobulette, In Agadir, the beach stretches for several kilometers. It starts just a few hundred meters from the cruise port.

That’s exactly our plan. We were thinking of taking a nice walk to the more touristy seafront. I was wondering if it’s pleasant to do on foot or if we’d definitely need to take a shuttle or taxi. Sometimes, port exits aren’t very pedestrian-friendly, uninteresting, or too far away—even for good walkers. Thanks for your helpful answers. Best regards

Taxis aren’t expensive— at worst, you’ll pay 10 € to go a little farther.

That said, when are you going? The water’s cold—it’s the Atlantic—and there are a lot of waves.

We’ll be there on 12/25. We’ve planned the following: a walk along the sea (no swimming) and a visit to the souks, all on foot if it’s doable.

Nathalie’s right, the taxis aren’t expensive and the water’s pretty chilly, but you can also settle into the pool at one of the big hotels along the beach. Don’t forget to check out the fishing port—it’s the best thing in Agadir.

From what I remember... it's been a while. We took a taxi. As hyerois said, we enjoyed the beach a bit by renting sun loungers and checked out the "souk". But I don’t think you can walk there—it’s about 6 or 7 km.

Around 10 € each way.
