you buy a guide like Routard, Vert, or VOIR and you study it, simple as that!

Or you ask Google...

I didn’t mention that this is my first trip, so the *Routard guide* is already a great tip from you. As for Google, I’ve already searched, but I was hoping to get more answers on this forum. Thanks for your reply and your advice.

If it's your first visit to Rome, there are obviously a few places you (as they say) *must* see. I’d mention: - the Roman Forum, the Imperial Forums, the Colosseum - St. Peter’s, the Basilica of St. John Lateran, St. Mary Major, ... - Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Castel Sant’Angelo

For the rest, it all depends on your personal interests: antiquity, the Renaissance, architecture, painting, etc. There’s so much to see in Rome, and lots of museums: the Capitoline Museums, Villa Borghese, the Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Roman Civilization, the Vatican Museums, etc.

Hi there, A sightseeing itinerary is, in my opinion, very personal... What do you care about visiting this or that church, art galleries, or what someone else has visited if you're more into archaeological sites, museums, etc.? Just grab the smallest guidebook—Cartovilles are handy because they group everything by neighborhood: sights, restaurants, bars, gelato spots—and check out what might interest you. That’s how you build your own personal itinerary. If you need practical info or have specific questions, just come back to the forum... CG

Hi, It might help to clarify what initially draws you to Rome?

Hi, I didn’t specify because I’m fascinated by everything—if I could see it all in 4 days, that’d be amazing, but unfortunately, it’s not possible. But I have to thank you for your link—it’s just great because it’s exactly what I was looking for on how to organize my days 🙂 I’ll get my list together—thanks so much!

Tips and must-see places for a trip to Rome in February

Hi there!

If you're spending a few days in Rome in February, make sure to check the weather first! Even though sunshine is almost guaranteed, temperatures usually range between 5°C and 15°C, and rain is always a possibility... For everything else, take a look at bonjourrome.fr. You’ll find all the info, addresses, and essential visits to discover the city—all in French. Of course, the Colosseum, the Vatican, the Pantheon, and the Trevi Fountain are must-sees, but there’s so much more to do and explore, and why not with a local guide? Guaranteed unforgettable experience! !

Uh, the original post was from 2020 🤪, I don’t think it’s still relevant 😏

Or is this just a sneaky ad for the guide? 😕
