Thanks Guy, but it’s really too tight for planning. You’d have to be on the site every day to not miss anything, and on top of that, people often post ads but don’t respond to comments. Hi Brigitte, So, change of destination because my priority was to leave at the beginning of next year (early January). I’ve joined up with two people and found a fourth (2 men, 2 women—gender parity!). We’ve put together a little group of four. We’re heading to Brazil (all between 65 and 70 years old) for about three months, with maybe a side trip to a neighboring country. One of us speaks fluent Portuguese, so that should work out. We’re meeting at one of our places for a few days in August to get to know each other. Chile and Bolivia will have to wait for the next trip. Wishing you a great trip—enjoy it! Chantal

Hello Yllen, I’ve been browsing the site to find someone who might want to travel with me. I was about to post an ad, but yours caught my eye. Like you, I’d love to visit these South American countries (among others). My travel style is similar to yours—simple but with a minimum of comfort. I adapt pretty easily to different situations or obstacles that might come up during a trip. I’m an early riser because it’s often quieter and more peaceful before the hustle and bustle starts. I’ve already been to a few countries in Asia, but in the Americas, only the western U.S., Canada, and Colombia for 6 weeks. I’m in good health, can handle treks (depending on the elevation gain), and I prefer villages and the countryside—unless, of course, there are must-see spots or big cities to visit briefly. Like you, I’d like to leave at the beginning of next year, but it could be a little before or after—I’m flexible. The best thing would be, if you’re up for it, to discuss this over the phone. Coucou, Je pars également en Colombie mi-janvier et jusqu'au 13 mars. On se croisera peut-être...!!! Pour les billets d'avion, il faudrait peut-être les prendre maintenant car "normalement" les prix grimpent plus on tarde, du moins plus on approche de la date choisie. Profitez bien.

Bonjour Catherine, Je ne sais pas si tes annonces sont toujours d'actualité mais sûrement que tu auras d'autres projets de voyages. Aussi, j'ai 60 ans et suis retraitée récemment et surtout nous sommes voisines puisque je réside à qques kms de chez toi. Serais-tu d'accord pour que nous fassions un peu mieux connaissance pour pourquoi pas envisager un trip quelque part. Je suis ouverte à pas mal de propositions car beaucoup de contrées lointaines m'intéressent. J'espère avoir de tes nouvelles. Chantal
