Thanks for all this information. Over the past few weeks, we’ve thoroughly researched the regions we’d like to visit. We’ll start our trip in Bariloche and its surroundings for a week. A few days in Buenos Aires, then a week in Uruguay (from Colonia del Sacramento to Montevideo). We’ve set aside 14 nights in the Salta/Cafayate/Tilcara area, taking our time in March. We’d love some advice for this region—whether to explore by rental car, local buses (to avoid driving too much), or maybe organized excursions. We’ve planned to stay 4 nights in each city to complete the northern and southern loop. Thanks in advance for your tips!

Hi everyone, We’re planning 40 days in Uruguay and Argentina in February and March, trying to avoid as much rain as possible. We’re thinking of starting in Buenos Aires, then heading to Bariloche, and from there flying to Córdoba, Mendoza, or Salta. Maybe by bus or renting a car to explore each region. Do you have any suggestions or tips for us? We love picturesque, historic cities and landscapes. As seasoned travelers, we’re used to planning our trips ourselves. Thanks in advance!

Hi there, We’re planning a month-long (or longer) trip to Colombia next February. We’re thinking of getting around by bus or taxi. For part of the trip, we’ve decided to start in Bogotá, then head to Villa de Leyva, then Barichara and the Chicamocha Canyon, and finally arrive in Bucaramanga to catch a flight to Medellín. If bus routes aren’t available, is it easy to find taxis in the villages or at hotels? Thanks for your tips!
