Hey, I did Pisa to Toulouse to get back last spring but I wouldn’t do it again. Yeah, 2 days is fine for crossing Spain. We travel with all the camping and bivouac gear when possible, and of course a few hotels now and then. If you’d like, we can grab a drink and chat about it when you’re free. Later.

Good evening, I’m also retired and wanted to head to Morocco. I live in the south of Les Landes, so not far from the Basque Country. That means I can ride down to southern Portugal and then continue my journey. I’ve got a BMW R1250R and stick to roads—no off-roading. I’ve got all the gear for bivouacking and camping, and of course a few hotels or guesthouses.

Retired, I’d like to spend about 3 weeks to a month in southern Morocco by motorcycle in October. I ride a BMW R1250R, so no off-roading—it’s not a trail bike, I stick to the roads. Departure from the south of Les Landes, crossing Spain, ferry from Algeciras to Tangier, then following the coast and heading south.
