Oh, you’ve done the travel journal—I followed you on FB. Your photos are gorgeous. It brings back some memories: Moab, Fisher Towers... So glad to see Peggy and Apolloroux are still around. I’d exchanged a lot before the pandemic to plan my various road trips in the U.S., the last one in 2019 through Washington and Oregon. We’ll have to go back. Since then, I’ve explored other places. Wishing you all the best in preparing your next trip. For New Mexico, I’ll definitely draw inspiration from it—I think we’ll do it in retirement because right now, my husband can only take time off in the summer, and it’d be way too hot in August... Wishing all of you, readers of the U.S. travel journals, amazing adventures.

I’ve been following your trip closely. I’ll be in Colombia next summer. I have a question—I noticed you visited La Candelaria in Bogotá... We’ll be there for two days when we arrive. On a Facebook group, I’ve read that there are safety concerns. Were you able to explore the city without worry? Did you walk to the funicular on foot? We’ll also be going to Villa de Leyva and Barichara. I’ve organized everything myself (got quotes from 3 agencies, but they were really expensive). The trickiest part will be transport logistics—some cities don’t have buses, and hotels need to know reliable taxis. Have a great day.

I’ll add that you can enter the Marina Bay Sands freely. There’s a huge lobby with really beautiful decor. I spent two days in Singapore (not at the Marina Bay) at the end of July before heading to Malaysia. For Gardens by the Bay, don’t miss the light and sound show at the end of the day—there are two, and they’re stunning. Then, yes, the Merlion, Chinatown, and Little India, as mentioned in a previous post. And most importantly, The Jewel—the airport voted the world’s most beautiful—it’s absolutely gorgeous. Have a great trip!

Wouah quel talent....L'Islande vu par le drône, juste exceptionnel...Magnifique, la musique parfaite aussi 🙂 Cela donne vraiment envie d'y aller. J'ai visité le Yellowstone et l'islande me plairait bien... Mon périple Pérou/Bolivie est reporté pour 2021, si le Covid m'empêche d'y aller, je songerai à un plan B vers l'Islande. Pas trop compliqué pour se loger ?
