Hola je reviens de Rurrenabaque dans le nord de la bolivie ou partir en visite dans la pampa 3 jours voir les anaconda les croco et nager avec les dauphins roses.....est une facon de se faire plumer! En fait il existe des tres nombreuses agences a Rure qui proposent exactement les memes prestations, c est bien simple une fois dans la jungle on croise partout en pirogue les meme touristes.pourtant les ecart de prix sont impressionants ils vont de 50 dollars trois jours (flecha tour a cote du TAM le transport aerien militaire, c est le moin cher) a 75 et 90 dollars pour les autres. Aussi si vous projetez d aller dans la jungle ou la pampa interrogez le maximum d agence ET VOUS VERREZ LES DIFFERENCES DE PRIX. Pour se rendre a Rurenabaque avis aux amateurs de sensation fortes:le bus met 17heures et le chemin qui serpente a flanc de montagne est a reserver a ceux qui ne sont pas cardiaques, surtout lorsque le bus fait marche arriere sur un chemin de 4 metres de larges pour laisser passer une voiture en sens inverse, prix modique 6 dollars ! L avion plus sage (pour le retour par exemple)met une heure pour 50 dollars.

ps:si vous voulez connaitre le programme detailler de la sortie de 3 jours dans la pamap maillez moi, j insiste toutes les agences ont le meme!

je pars pour holguin au brisas gaurdalavaca le 5 decembre avec mon mari et mes deux enfants 12 et 14 ans c est la premiere fois que nous allons dans le sud et je voulais que les enfants puissent nager avec les dauphins je voudrais avoir des commentaires au sujet de cet hotel ah oui je veut rserver dans les villas merci a l avance.

After taking a little trip around the world, I came back a few months ago with an idea in mind.

I mostly do diving, and I love observing animals in their natural habitat without disturbing them.

During the trip, I realized it was quite complicated to know where and when to see certain species.

For example:

where to dive with sharks or manta rays where you might get a chance to swim with whales

I even discovered thresher sharks during my trip… I didn’t even know this species existed before, even though they’re incredible to see.

We spent a ton of time searching for info all over the place, especially on social media, without ever getting a clear picture.

So I started putting all this together on my own, in the form of a map, to make it easier to visualize where to go depending on the seasons.

I recently put a first version online (it’s called Fauneya). There are probably mistakes, inconsistencies, or things to improve, and that’s partly why I’m posting here.

I’d really love to know how you all go about planning this kind of trip.

We have the opportunity to spend about ten days somewhere for Christmas, and I’m really tempted by Zanzibar. I’ve been dreaming for a long time about the Spice Island, Stone Town, diving...

Which hotels could you recommend? Not a big "resort"—we’re more into "boutique hotels" or even an Airbnb house. Somewhere quiet (we’re not party animals).

I’m thinking of staying the first few nights in Stone Town and then moving to a beach, preferably one where we can swim regardless of the tides, without ending up in seaweed and mud at low tide.

I’m a bit lost with all the beaches because apparently, the north is very crowded, the south is very windy, and the east has some good and some not-so-good spots, with big tides or not... HELP! 🤪

I’d like to limit myself to a maximum of 2 different places to stay over the 10 days.

France works just fine for me, unless you’ve already booked a hotel or a flight? Let’s talk about it. Either way, the motto is to escape the city and crowds as much as possible.

I’ve just got two tickets for my partner and me to spend 18 days starting from Oaxaca. We arrive on the morning of 10/27 and leave on the afternoon of 11/13.

I’ve already booked a lodge for 7 nights about 20 km from Oaxaca. The idea is to be nearby, especially for Día de los Muertos, which my partner has been dreaming about.

I’ve got a few questions:

- First, do you think renting a car is essential, or are the local bus networks (around Oaxaca) dense and reliable enough? - Roughly how much do taxi rides cost? - After our stay in Oaxaca (where the schedule is still flexible), I plan to head to the Pacific coast around Mazunte, with a goal of visiting a lagoon at night to swim in the bioluminescent algae and possibly witness turtle hatchings. But so far, I haven’t noted much else. Any suggestions for things to do/see around Mazunte, or along the route between Oaxaca and the Pacific coast?

Hi there! Looking to head off by the end of this year, no later than between December 10th and 15th, for the Philippines. Any recommendations for regions like the Batanes Islands and Mindanao, away from mass tourism and off the beaten path?

Plan: Beaches, snorkeling, diving, hiking, and visiting the most interesting sites depending on each person’s preferences (I’m not really into old stones but more about nature, jungle, flora, and fauna).

When? Between December 10th and 15th, but no later than December 15th–17th.

Where? Northern Philippines, starting with a few days of beach and relaxation to recharge after the bad weather and winter in France. Then, off to trek in northern Luzon with its stunning rice terraces, followed by the Batanes Islands, which are the epitome of off-the-beaten-path destinations. After that, we’d head down to the Balicas Islands, where you can swim with turtles and where tourism is minimal due to very limited hotel infrastructure (accommodation is in tents by the sea). Next up: the island of Mindanao.

Depending on time and everyone’s interests, we could continue to Sumatra and then the Moluccas Islands, which, unlike the rest of Indonesia, are much less affected by the monsoon.

With whom?

Someone who’s already traveled and hiked beyond just their imagination and dreams . Independent and resourceful (I’m looking for a travel partner, not a tourist to guide). Good-humored and adaptable. Loving adventure and eager to explore off the beaten path.

I’ve traveled a lot and I’m a fan of the unexpected (go where the wind takes you).

Je n'arrête pas de changer d'avis mais comme je veux rester 3 semaines au même endroit, il faut que je vise juste.

J'étais restée sur le choix de Hiva Oa mais ce qui m'embête c'est d'une part le prix du vol Papeeti-Hiva Oa et le fait que cette île n'est pas propice à la baignade. Or, aller dans ces sublimes lagons sans pouvoir se baigner.... J'en serais frustrée. Je ne pratique pas la plongée.

Deux d'entre vous qui avez échangé m'ont poussée à retourner voir dans mes guides. Il s'agit de Fakarava. Là bas, ça semble l'idéal pour nager. Plages plages et plages....

Une pension me fait de l'oeil, vaiama village. Si certains d'entre vous y sont allés quelques jours, j'aimerais bien avoir un retour. Je suis allée sur trip advisor. A priori, les critiques sont très bonnes.

Y a t-il des randos à faire à Fakarava ?

Allez je me lance : après le carnet philippin , voici le carnet indonésien retraçant une semaine passée au sein du parc de Komodo .

J’espère qu’il pourra aider les futurs voyageurs et les aidera à patienter jusque là .

Pour les nouveaux venus, nous voyageons en famille avec nos enfants qui avaient 15 ans au moment du voyage , qui s’est déroulé pendant les vacances de la Toussaint 2017 (une semaine à Komodo et une semaine à Bali essentiellement dans la région d’Ubud pendant la fête de Galungan )

Ce voyage fut le premier pour nous en Asie (et vous avez pu constater qu’il ne fut pas le dernier). Il a été fait en autonomie sans passer par une agence mais tout a été programmé et booké en avance.

Aller à Komodo pour un premier séjour asiatique n’est pas forcément très commun mais je rêvais de rencontrer et si possible de nager/plonger avec des raies manta. Plus voir les fameux dragons, ça ne se refuse pas c'est unique ...

Cela fut un bon prétexte pour ma fille et moi , après un baptême réalisé au Mexique en 2013, de passer notre Openwater à Marseille en juillet 2017 en prévision . Les hommes ne nous ont pas suivies (hélas pour notre porte monnaie , vu qu'au final ils ont décidé de plonger à Komodo et sans certification cela revient le double/plongée ... )

Pourquoi une semaine à Komodo ? Pour prendre le temps d’apprécier à sa juste valeur ce parc réputé pour être une destination phare pour les amoureux de plongée et snorkeling et bien en profiter.

Après une nuit proche de Labuan Bajo ( qui se trouve sur l’ile de Florès et qui est le port de départ pour le parc de Komodo) , nous avons fait une croisière de 4 jours/3 nuits puis deux jours de plongée en dormant sur l’ile de Sebayur directement au sein du parc national.

Pour un prochain voyage en octobre/novembre, j'hésite entre le Sikkim et l'Arunachal Pradesh.

Je suis déjà allé 3 fois au Ladhak et je cherche une destination en Inde qui s'en rapproche au niveau de la majesté des paysages.

En regardant des vidéos et des photos sur le net je ne suis pas émerveillé par la beauté des paysages de ces deux destinations.

Je serais ravi de connaitre vos expériences pour ces deux destinations
