Entry Requirements and Visa for Israel
Location Map of Israel
People
For travel with a tourist purpose.
For French Citizens
No visa is required for stays of less than 3 months. The passport must still be valid for at least six months after the entry date. Note that upon arrival in Israel, passports are not stamped (to avoid complications for future visits to certain countries), but instead, a slip is given to keep during your stay.

Possible Complications
Depending on the countries (Arab) already visited or, conversely, if you plan to travel to certain countries after a stay in Israel, this may cause some issues. Likewise, membership in a pro-Palestinian organization or one advocating a boycott of Israel can be grounds for refusal of entry by Israeli authorities (including the Palestinian territories via the country).
Finally, it is useful to know that arrival checks in Israel can be long and demanding. In all cases, it is best to be patient and "cooperative."
