When and Where to Go in Jamaica
Best Times to Visit Jamaica
Finding the best time to visit Jamaica means balancing the (relative) climate constraints with crowd levels and the most attractive prices for on-the-ground expenses or getting to the island.
The period from mid-December to late March or early April is peak season, with the prices and crowds to match. While the rest of the year might be off-season for "external" visitors, July and August are also months when many Jamaicans from England take their vacations to return to the island. Taking all this into account, the best periods to recommend are mid-April to late June and November to early December.
