Best Times to Visit Nicaragua
Finding the best time to visit involves balancing climate conditions with crowd levels and the most attractive prices for travel and on-site expenses.
Climatically, since very few people visit the Caribbean coast (where February to April is ideal), the dry season from late November to early May is the most suitable for exploring the country. This avoids the rains that can cause issues, particularly on the coasts where the atmosphere is also quite humid during this period. As for tourist crowds and the associated prices, the peak times are mainly around Christmas/early January and Easter, though compared to many other destinations, the extremes are far from being reached.
In short, considering all these factors, November to April is the most recommended period, while it's best to avoid Christmas and Easter for a quieter experience.
