For French Citizens

A valid identity card or passport is sufficient to enter Gibraltar.

Other Nationalities

The same applies to all European Union nationals, as well as Swiss and Canadian citizens. For others, note that Gibraltar, like Great Britain, is not part of the Schengen Area, meaning Schengen visas are not valid for its territory—except for nationals of five specific countries, including Morocco.

Vehicles

As long as you are not a resident, there are no special formalities for bringing your vehicle into Gibraltar. However, there is little point in driving around the small territory; you might as well leave it on the Spanish side.
