Nearly 75% of the population is Christian, overwhelmingly Protestant from various churches or denominations, with a small Catholic minority. The country also has a few Muslims, Hindus, or Baháʼís, plus 20% who are atheist or do not adhere to any religion. That said, even if it is not always "claimed," animism or traditional religions are also present in the country.
