Tourism
After revenue from its status as a tax haven and flag of convenience, tourism is Bermuda’s other major asset. Each year, these small islands welcome around 250,000 to 300,000 visitors (282,000 in 2018), the vast majority coming from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. These three countries, in fact, are the only ones with direct air links to Bermuda. However, most tourists arrive by sea, primarily on cruise ships, for a (very) brief stay.
