Languages

English is the official language of Bermuda, though it would be more accurate to call it "Bermudian English," with its own accent and vocabulary. Due to its history and settlement, which saw the arrival of migrants from Portugal and the Azores in the mid-20th century, Portuguese is the second most spoken language in the archipelago.
