Health and Safety in Bermuda
FR

Official Recommendations

In France, both for individuals and professionals, the "travel advice" from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding precautions for each country has legal value. A similar online travel advice system exists in several countries:

Health

No vaccinations are mandatory to enter the country, though it is still advisable to be up to date with your "basic vaccinations."

Illnesses and Hygiene

There are no health concerns. At most, a few precautions may be necessary regarding water, which is generally stored in tanks; bottled water may be preferable.

Local Healthcare Facilities

The medical system in Bermuda is similar to that in the USA, so it is extremely expensive. Given the high cost of medical care, it is essential to have comprehensive travel insurance that adequately covers costs (it’s worth checking the details carefully).

Safety

Crime and Delinquency

There is some minor local crime, though it is less prevalent than on many other islands in the region. With basic common sense and precautions, there are generally no issues.

Scams and "Tourist" Harassment

Socio-Political Risks

Nothing to report.

Climate, Nature, and Wildlife
