Climate and Weather in Curaçao
Location Map of Curaçao
Climate Overview
Curaçao, like its neighbors Aruba and Bonaire, is a sunny island and one of the sunniest. It’s a dry land with only a short rainy season from late October to early January. Throughout the year, the average daytime temperature hovers around 30°C, while nighttime temperatures average around 25°C. However, thanks to the trade winds blowing in from the sea and first hitting the north/northeast coast, the heat remains bearable. As for hurricanes, Curaçao isn’t directly in their path, though the island may occasionally feel their effects.
Best Time to Visit Curaçao
Since the climate and temperatures remain fairly constant year-round, there isn’t a clearly better time to visit. If you prefer, you can avoid the slightly rainier period (late October to early January) or opt for the start of the year, when it’s a bit cooler.
