For tourist travel purposes.
For French Citizens
A passport valid for six months beyond the end date of your stay and a return ticket are required. No visa is needed for stays of less than 90 days.
Other Nationalities
The same applies to Swiss, Belgian, and most other EU nationals.
For Canadians, a valid photo ID proving citizenship is sufficient. However, a passport is strongly recommended. A return ticket is also required.
