Climate and Weather in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
FR

Climate Overview

SVG has a relatively mild climate, and the heat is never excessive, with daytime temperatures year-round ranging between 27 and 31°C and nighttime temperatures between 20 and 23°C. Additionally, the trade winds make the atmosphere more pleasant.

The archipelago experiences two distinct seasons with brief "transitional" periods. The dry season runs from late December to May. This is the most pleasant time to visit, with fine weather and just a few occasional showers. In contrast, the wet season brings oppressive heat when the trade winds aren’t blowing and, most notably, frequent afternoon rains—especially on Saint Vincent, which is wetter than the Grenadines. This period, from late June to November, is the least favorable for visiting, particularly as it also coincides with hurricane season, which can occasionally affect the island, especially between August and October.

Best Climate Period for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

The ideal time to visit is from late December to late April or early May if you want to avoid too much rain, occasional mugginess, or hurricanes that may reach the island.
