Nature-Adventure
With its volcano La Soufrière rising over 1,200 meters and open for climbing, its forests and waterfalls, as well as its partly rugged coastline, the landscapes of Saint Vincent are quite beautiful. And while the Grenadines offer a different scene, with less relief, their postcard-perfect beaches are usually enough to inspire dreams...
Culture
Traces of the past are few. Only Kingstown, the capital, still has some old buildings (Fort Charlotte, cathedral, etc.). Otherwise, there’s still the culture and traditions of the local population to discover.
Relaxation-Holidays
Like all the islands in the region, this is the destination’s strong point. However, it’s primarily in the Grenadines that the most beautiful beaches and many hotel complexes—sometimes very high-end—are found. In the "holiday" category, SVG is also a major sailing hub, with opportunities to explore the archipelago by cruise on small sailboats.
Independent Travel
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is an easy destination for independent travel, perfect for beginner travelers.

LGBT
Legally, Saint Vincent is one of the most regressive countries in the Americas. Homosexuality, for both men and women, is illegal and punishable by imprisonment. Overall, the archipelago is hardly "gay-friendly," much like a large part of its population.
