Accommodation in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Overview of the offer
While the country gives a "high-end" impression with targeted and limited accommodation options, particularly in the Grenadines, the main island of Saint Vincent and, secondarily, Bequia offer a broader range, including budget-friendly choices. Alongside luxury hotels and villas, there are still some affordable family-run guesthouses. As usual, it may be wise to book during the high season (Christmas to Easter), especially as prices rise.
Hotels of all kinds
While the two main islands of the archipelago have a decent selection of hotels, the smaller ones (not to mention the private islands) typically have only one or two large establishments, with prices to match. Therefore, Saint Vincent and Bequia concentrate the most affordable options, including some guesthouses that can be found for as little as $30–40 US for a double room. For hotels "with more tourist-standard amenities," expect to pay at least double for entry-level options.
Other options
Homestays, B&Bs
Camping
Just like in most other Caribbean islands, there are no campsites in either Saint Vincent or the Grenadines.
