Sites, Monuments, and Architectural Landmarks

Moorish Castle of Gibraltar
The remains of a medieval fortress located on the Rock. More broadly, the Moorish Castle also refers to the medieval fortifications of Gibraltar, comprising ancient walls, gates, and medieval buildings.

Europa Point
At the southernmost tip of the territory, you can see the strait, Algeciras, and Morocco. The spot is also home to a lighthouse, a mosque, and the Church of Our Lady of Europe.
Rocher de Gibraltar, Gibraltar
Gibraltar Rock
Towering 426 m above the city, this site (a designated nature reserve) is the territory's most famous attraction, known for its monkeys and panoramic views. Locally, it's called the Upper Rock. You can reach it by car, on foot, or by cable car. Entry includes visits to the Moorish fortress, St Michael's Cave, City under Siege, the Great Siege Tunnels, and the Military Heritage Centre.
St. Michael's Cave
These caves were used in the Neolithic era but also served as a hospital during World War II and are now an occasional concert venue. They are located on the Rock of Gibraltar site.
Gibraltar Tunnels and Undergrounds
These are 70 kilometres of tunnels in the Upper Rock, dug and used during both the Siege of Gibraltar in the late 18th century and World War II. While the Great Siege Tunnels are included in the Rock entry fee, the WWII Tunnels cost £8 per adult.
