Hi everyone, Third trip to Morocco. For a 4-day getaway, we’ve chosen Agadir in early March. I’m looking for advice on where to stay, while being close to the city center and the seaside. Riad? Apartment? Any recommendations?

We’re landing in Agadir, so I assume we’ll need to take a taxi—anyone have a particular one to recommend? Also, we’d like to do a quad bike outing—any agencies you’d suggest? Thanks for your replies!

Hi there! You can take a taxi, or the shuttle bus just outside the airport exit, which takes you to the terminus for all the city buses. From there, you can take a "petit taxi"—it’ll be much cheaper.

There’s no oasis or riad in Agadir; it’s a modern city. The old town was destroyed by an earthquake (you can visit the ruins on the hill).

There are *tons* of hotels for every budget and comfort level. I’ve stayed at a few and really liked an aparthotel, AZOUR, in the Talborjt district—super nice. Near the beaches, the vibe is dead—no life at all. Talborjt is just 5 minutes away by petit taxi (1 euro). There are some great little restaurants there...
