Etant donné les prix en france (et non remboursé), je me demandé si qq'un savait si on pouvait acheter ce traitement directement en thailande?

la savarine est plutôt pour l'afrique
mais normalement on n'en a pas besoin là bas appeler l'office du tourisme à paris pour le cambodge comme ça vous en aurez le coeur net. Thailande pas besoin
j'en n'ai jamais pris la bonne dizaine de fois que je suis allée là bas
pour l'asie du sud- est c'est en général LE LARIAM qui est prescrit...
thailande si vous allez vers le nord ou frontière birmane il peut être recommandé mais pas obligatoire (si période mousson peut être plus recommandé)
le reste de la thailande il n'y a pas d'endémie quoi que une année en 1995 à koh samui un touriste et son jeune enfant ont eu le paludisme là bas ça c'est déclenché très très rapidemment mais on n'entends plus parler de cas par là.....
pour un antipaludéen en principe il faut commencer le traitement avant le départ
le lariam par exemple c'est 1 comprimé une semaine avant l'arrivée dans le pays et les autres le meme jour de chaque semaine....
il est quand même dommage de vouloir faire une économie de bout de chandelle sur un point de vue aussi important dans ces cas là on ne voyage pas dans un pays ou il peut y avoir un risque... pourquoi se payer un voyage et faire des économies de 4 sous
d'autant plus que ces comprimés se prennent bien avant le départ et après le retour un bon moment...
pas le lariamp ne prens pas cette merde j ai failli mourrir avec se produit et je ne suis pas le seul trois jours a l hosto a hanoi et tous les toubibs en asie mon dit que c etait un crime de prescrir le lariam
tout dépend si on a un facteur "caché" à risque . un médecin doit prendre toutes les précautions avant de le prescrire
oui il est très fort il peut avoir une interaction sur les transaminases lors d'une prise de sang et risques pour certaines personnes souffrant de troubles bien indiqués sur les notices. ... ça il suffit de le savoir le médecin ne le prescrirait pas
je connais pas mal de gens (des clients voyageurs et famille et moi même) qui l'ont pris sous surveillance médicale et dument prescrit... dont des enfants et aucun problème d'hosto ou effets secondaire. faut pas faire une généralité ...
il ya différents dosages bcp ne respectent pas les prescriptions
donc faut l'avis d'un médecin de toutes les façons ils ne le donnent pas sans ordonnances *
il existe maintenant il est vrai des trucs moins fort juste contraignant un comprimé tous les jours etc
là bcp le savent en thailande l'antipaludéen n'est pas obligatoire juste conseillé pour le nord surtout en période de mousson et vers la frontière birmane....
le principal c'est que vous alliez bien depuis cette grosse frayeur vous étiez une personne à risque....pour le LARIAM

Je voulais savoir si on pouvait acheter de la savarine (indiqué par le pharmacien pour l'asie du sud est) en thailande et si qq'un connaissait les tarifs. La savarine se prend 1 journée avant le depard.

Vu la période à laquelle tu pars (fin de la saison sèche, pas beaucoup de moustiques) ce n'est pas évident que tu ais besoin d'anti palu pour le cambodge... Où comptes tu aller précisément ? Vas-tu faire un séjour prolongé en zone rurale ?
A ta place, je consulterai un service de médecine du voyage : c'est ce que j'ai fait avant un voyage qui allait m'amener 3 mois en Asie, et le médecin que j'ai vu ne m'a pas conseillé de traitement préventif, alors que mon généraliste habituel voulait me coller sous Malarone...
Les effets secondaires des médicaments antipaludéens sont souvent pire que le mal qu'ils sont sensés éviter.
Ils n'ont pas apporté la preuve de leur efficacité le palu ayant évolué... mais hélas pas les laboratoires
qui se préoccupent beaucoup plus de commercialiser leurs produits.
Je voyage beaucoup par le monde et ne prend plus du tout d'anti paludéen sans aucun problème.
Des mesures simples ... crêmes anti moustiques apropriées... moustiquaire où Climatisation et le soir sortir en pantalon avec chaussettes et chemises manches longues de couleur foncé.
Laisser les lézards entrer dans la chambre ils se régalent des insectes et sont de compagnie agréable

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.

Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...

The suspected origin is contamination in Namibia by jackals.
The contagion seems to be spreading.
