j'envisage lors de mon voyage en mai d'en profiter pour me faire poser 2 couronnes dentaires, opération qui commence à urger d'après le dernier dentiste que je suis aller voir en France.
Un ami m'a dit qu'il n'y avait pas de soucis au vietnam niveau sanitaire mais lui a fait son opération il y a plus de 5 ans donc il n'a plus vraiment d'adresse à me proposer.
Certains d'entre vous aurez des adresses de dentiste sérieux à me proposer sur Ho Chi minh ? J'arrive début mai et je comptais faire ça au début de mon voyage car je reste 5 semaines et ainsi si ya un soucis je pourrais toujours retourner me plaindre 🤪

Il y a une clinique internationael dentaire (en tout cas c'est le nom je crois ) à HCM ville presque à coté un grand centre commercial Diamond Plaza..et qui est presque à coté du consulat français..je ne peux vous donner une adresse précise pour ne pas faire de la pub déguisée..avec ces informations vous trouverez certainement en vous aidant un peu avec internet..

Au Viêt Nam, il y a beaucoup de cabinets dentaires, il n'est pas nécessaire d'aller dans un grand cabinet connu, car cela coûte aussi cher ou presqu'en France.
En parlant de dentiste, je vais cet été justement pour me faire refaire les 6 dents (bridge).

J'ai pris un aller retour vers mi-juillet pour 15 jours, ne serait ce que pour aller uniquement chez le dentiste. Devine comment cela revient en France, c'est 16 fois moins cher qu'en France. Même avec un billet aller retour en pleine saison et me loger à l'hôtel, ça vaut quand même le coup d'y aller.

Je n'ai nullement l'intention de faire de la Pub pour un dentiste en particulier..cependant j'ai donné un emplacement une clinique ..et en disant à la personne en recherche de dentiste de faire des recherches ..il trouvera certainement ce qu'il cherche car dans les journaux vietnamiens il y a même presque une page entière.. et d'ailleurs la charte me l'interdise..avec mes meilleures salutations..

Je n'ai rien contre vous mais j'ai donné un conseil à la personne, qu'il y a bien des cabinets dentaires, un peu partout à Hochiminh ville (et ça pousse comme des champignons). Les cabinets dentaires connus sont très chers, leurs prix sont alignés comme ceux à l'étranger.
La personne qui a demandé un renseignement sur les dentistes au VN, soit on ne sait pas on se tait, soit on lui répond d'une manière concrète.
Nous sommes dans un forum de discussion, nous sommes en droit de donner des renseignements au demandeur, surtout si on a déjà vécu de cette situation.

je suis désolé de ne pas donner une adresse exacte de la clinique dentaire..je ne pense pas non plus qu'à travers ce forum on se déguise en agence de publicité..perso..je participe à ce forum car je pense que je rende service..vu que je vais au pays deux fois ou trois par an..je n'estime pas de connaitre bien le pays..mais éventuellement je connais relativement HCM ville pour avoir parcouru en long et en large soit pour visiter soit passer devant une enseigne une fois ou autre ..voilà je ne cherche pas à avoir raison absolument..les gens n'ont qu'a chercher un peu après tout..car effectivement pas mal d'informations s'y trouvent..je n'écris pas en gras ni pour renforcer ce que je dis..ni pour engueuler les gens..

Peu importe que vous donniez ou non les adresses des cabinets ou cliniques dentaires. On s'en fiche, l'essentiel c'est que votre réponse doit être sûre et concrète pour informer les gens du forum.
Si elles étaient floues cela prouve prouve que vous n'en connaisiez rien. Ce que je vous ai reproché.
Qu'est ce qui ne connaît pas qu'il y a des cabinets dentaires très chics et très chers dans Hochiminh ville ?
D'autre part, ce n'est pas parce qu'on va 2 ou 3 fois par an au VN qu'on connaît mieux le VN son pays natal quiconque. Je peux dire qu'il y a beaucoup d'asiatiques qui vont au Viêt Nam et restent enfermer dans leurs familles pour attendre leur jour du départ...... pour enfin dire qu'ils vont régulièrement au Viêt Nam comme si on va au marché. En outre, ils sortent régulièrement leurs billets verts de leur poche et n'arrêtent de compter et de recompter devant les membres de leur famille comme s'ils sont riches à l'étranger. Ces gens là, je les vois beaucoup plus que ceux qui partent et voyagent au VN comme moi.

Vous me semblez bien agressif à mon égard..je ne prétend nullement de connaitre le Vietnam..et je ne vais pas au Vietnam pour montrer mes billets verts...(ce qui réserve au Viet Kieu des Etats unis) ..c'est certain que vous avez beaucoup voyager que d'autres au Vietnam ..Il me semble que la moindre politesse est que quand vous ne connaissez pas la personne ne la juge pas..Cher Monsieur..je ne vais pas au Viet nam ni pour voyager..je vais au Vietnam parce que c'est mon pays..tout simplement et si certains vietnamiens restent dans leur famille c'est qu'ils aimeraient passer du temps auprès des siens ..et je ne vois pas en quoi ils sont détestable..je n'ai pas à déballer ma vie privée ici ..mais je vais au Vietnam..aussi parce que je suis engagé bénévolement auprès des ONG qui aident les enfants et les gens défavorisés au Vietnam..après presque plus de 50 ans passé à l'étranger..arrivant à mon âge c'est la moindre des choses que je pourrais faire encore ..que ceux qui veulent voyager au Vietnam comme ils veulent je ne les juge pas..

Il y a plein de cabinets dentaires à Saigon.
Les équipments sont dernier cri et les compétences des dentistes (formés à l'Université de Huê ou aux Etats-Unis) n'ont pas à prouver.
Les tarifs sont assez chers, contrairement à ce qu'on pourrrait laisser croire. Il faut demander une facture pour la présenter à votre Sécu en rentrant.
On peut toujours trouver des tarifs peu chers dans les quartiers populaires.

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...
