A mon avis, ton programme est très chargé (même si tu n'étais pas enceinte d'ailleurs).
A ta place, je supprimerai quelques étapes et je resterai plus longtemps au même endroit.
Les trajets sont longs et fatiguants.
A mon avis il faudra que tu évites les chicken bus (ça secoue !) et les navettes pour touristes, qui sont la plupart du temps des minibus, ne sont guère mieux. Il faut peut être envisager, si tu as le budget, une location de voiture (avec ou sans chauffeur), pour remplacer les transferts en bus.
Côté vaccin, aucun n'est obligatoire.
Tu devrais tout de même consulter un service de médecine du voyage pour voir ce qui est souhaitable en fonction de ton itinéraire et de ton état. Pour le palu c'est la saison sèche, le risque est donc plus limité. A antigua ou atitlan aucun souci, en revanche dans le Nord ça peut être plus risqué, il vaut mieux que tu te renseignes auprès de professionnels.
Pour la nourriture, c'est comme partout : eau en bouteille uniquement, évite les choses crues que tu ne peux pas peler toi même, bref les précautions d'usage.
On a mangé partout au guatemala, sur les marchés, les échoppes dans la rue, et on n'a jamais été malades... Mais une fois suffit.
Et bien ça dépend un peu de ce que tu as envie de faire, de tes priorités...
Je pense que les activités du type ascencion de volcans, tu peux effectivement oublier.
A ta place, je privilégierais les truc cools : la visite d'antigua, ville très agréable et pas stressante. la lac atitlan, bien tranquille aussi, pas fatiguant. A voir si tu te sens de faire l'aller retour jusqu'à chichi, ça fait beaucoup de route, et honnêtement le marché est clafi de touristes, ce n'est pas l'endroit le plus passionant que j'ai visité dans ce pays... Tikal / Flores pas de souci, la question sera comment tu y vas... Il faut peut être que tu envisages un vol intérieur, la route est longue. Ceibal très sympa, mail là aussi depuis Flores le trajet est une peu long pour faire un AR dans la journée: bus + lancha, ensuite ça grimpe un peu, à faire seulement si tu te sens suffisamment en forme mais tu peux aviser sur place au dernier moment.
Coban, ça ne me semble pas poser de problème, comme toujours la question c'est le mode de transport...
Pour le Bélize, je ne connais pas. Mais pour le transfert Flores/Belize, tu as intérêt à choiri un miode de transport confortable : moi je l'ai fait dans un minibus bondé de touristes (j'allais à Chetumal, le trajet jusqu'à la frontière est le même), le faire enceinte ce n'est peut pas une bonne idée.
Donc, si ta priorité c'est paysage, nature et repos, je te recommanderais plutôt de supprimer un des sites pré-colombiens (vu ton parcours, le plus logique serait que tu n'ailles qu'à Tikal par ex.)
Si au contraire tu veux privilégier la culture maya, alors peut être renoncer à aller jusqu'au Belize et te trouver un coin tranquille plus près (genre sur les bords du lac peten, très cool). Beaucoup de gens recommandent El Remate.

NB : j'ai l'impression que vous faites ce parcours en autonome, c'est bien le cas ? Si oui, évite de réserver trop de choses à l'avance comme ça tu te laisses la possibilité de changer l'itinéraire en cours de route selon ta forme. Pas besoin de tout planifier à l'avance, on s'organise très bien au jour le jour dans ce pays...

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

I have several chronic conditions (including asthma and related ones), and I’m planning to travel for a year across different countries.
Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...

We, as parents, have been through it in Egypt with pretty bad cases, but we’d really like to avoid that for our daughter. It’s the bite that transmits the disease.
There are so-called "furious" forms with aggression, but also forms without aggression.
