pour les implants, vaut mieux voir sur Bangkok, c'est quand meme un travail lourd, je ne suis pas affirmatif, mais je pense que celà se passe en 2 temps avec une pause pour voir s'il n'y a pas de rejet de l'implant
le Bangkok hospital (pas le meilleur marché, mais 5* pour l'hebergement) dispose d'interpretes Francais, va sur google tu a pas mal de pub de cabinets ou d'hopitaux qui tiennent la route,
pas de remboursement secu, mais vu les tarifs en France....

Ca vaut le coup dans le sens où c'est deux fois moins chers qu'en france ( 1000 euros au lieu de 2000), niveau hygiène c'est correct et qualité aussi. Après tout dépend ta mentalité, est-tu prêt à faire confiance a un dentiste thailandais ou alors tu préfères entendre les ont-dits de n'importe qui?

J'ai regarder les grandes clinic de BKK ou Pattaya il faut compter environ 2500$ UN IMPLANT, ce qui fait environ 1900 €, il n'y a pas une grande difference avec la France qui est a 2000€ l'implant.

Pourquoi faire à l'étranger des implants que vous pouvez faire au même prix en France ?
Pas besoin de prendre l'avion il suffit de prendre le métro pour venir à mon cabinet à Boulogne-Billancourt ; pas besoin de démarches compliquées et onéreuses, la pose d'un implant se fait en général en moins d'une heure.
C'est une intervention souvent assez simple et qui entraîne peu ou pas de douleurs... surtout quand on pratique l'ouverture "a minima", donc sans sutures (méthode simple mise au point après plus de 15 ans d'expérience).
Le taux de succès, comme chez la plupart des implantologues, est de plus de 90%.
Réservez la Hongrie, la Roumanie ou la Turquie pour un vrai voyage touristique... c'est tellement plus agréable !

Prise en charge: elle est très variable selon les mutuelles et la "ligne de sourire".
Beaucoup de voyageurs viennent en Thaïlande se faire soigner car certaines affections sont mal ou pas du tout prises en charge dans leurs pays d'origine.
Pour un Français, c'est plus rare, selon ses besoins, faire ses propres calculs s'avère nécessaire (on trouve maintenant des Anglais qui viennent se faire soigner en France, c'est dire!)
D'autre part, des pays plus proches et francophones offrent maintenant des packages très intéressants.

le post est un peu vieux mais vu que le sujet est exactement celui qui me concerne, je relance.
Je suis actuellement a BKK et j'ai besoin moi aussi d'un implant dentaire. Apres avoir checker 4-5 cliniques, les prix etant toujours plus ou moins les memes, je voulais savoir si quelqu'un aurait trouve moins cher. S'etait peut etre fais soigner correctement quelquepart, ou aurait tout simplement une bonne adresse a me donner.
Voila pour l'implant dentaire: 4000 bhats (+ ou - 100E)
et la couronne de 6500 a 15000 baths. Celle a 6500 etant du metal de base, celle a 15000 composer a 85% d'or. Le contour etant de couleur blanche dans tout les cas bien sur.
Ce qui me reviendrai entre 10000 et 19000 bhats.
Je suis surprise de tes prix et je souhaiterais savoir dans quel clinique a BAngkok tu as pu avoir ces prix la. J'ai besoin d'un implant dentaire et j'ai deja fais au moins 5 cliniques

4H30 taxi de chez Malika, direction porte maillot, 23€. Afin de prendre un bus qui va a l'aéroport de Beauvais 15 euros. Ce bus part à 5H20. Ce nouvel aéroport est utilisé pour les avions low cost.
Le bus arrive à 6H20 a Beauvais, je suis très en avance. Je visite cet aéroport, il est tout petit. Un petit magasin Casino, un magasin de souvenirs et deux bistrots. Ceci dans le terminal 1. Il y a un deuxième terminal mais mon avion décolle du UN alors je reste ds ce terminal.
Vers 7h45 les guichets de check in s'ouvrent. J'ai très peu de bagage, uniquement un sac que je garde en cabine, kg.
Afin de ne pas être enquiquiné je ne prends pas de trousse de toilette. Le control est super simplifié, ben vi c'est l'Europe.
Bizarre le duty free n'accepte pas les clopes et alcool mais accepte parfum et produits beautés
Vers 9h15 embarquement, l'avion décolle avec 15 mn de retard, donc nous partons à 9h45.
Comme c'est avion est low cost nous n'avons pas a manger il faut payer. Alors je m'achète un sandwich et un jus d'orange.
Nous arrivons à Bucarest à 13h30, il a rattrapé son retard en cours de route. Il est 12h30 en France. Un chauffeur m'attend. Nous partons pour PITESTI, C'est à 2 heures de l'aéroport de Bucarest.
Arrive a Pitesti en premier on va a l'hôtel je règle les formalités et je laisse mon sac dans ma chambre.
Ensuite nous partons pour la clinique.
L'accueil est tres chaleureux, et en Français. Je règle le coté administratif et je donne 8 billets rose d'euros, Putain ca fait drôle.
Ensuite le doc MIHAI me fait un super détartrage de mes dents du bas, comme il voit que cela me fait mal il m'anesthésie. Holala super détartrage, et MIHAI est tres mignon.
Vers 17h30 je retourne a mon hôtel, je m'arrête a un distrib pour prendre des LEI, il faut 4 leis pour un euro. Vers 19h, internet a l'hôtel et resto a l'hôtel.
Ils sont tous super sympa. Mariana me propose une soupe et un plat spécialité roumaine, ok, je me lance, c'est super bon. Je ne comprends pas le nom, dans la soupe il y a des boulettes de viande. Le plat genre les trucks que tu roules sous les bras avec du fromage blanc, c'est délicieux. Ensuite elle m'amène un désert, je vais étouffer, deux grosses chouquettes avec de la crème, je les emmène dans ma chambre, car je suis archi full.

Pharmacie avec mon ordonnance que Christiana m'a donne la veille, antibio anti douleurs et cortisone.
Les Roumains adorent les bretzels, ils sont super sympa et le langage ressemble a l'italien.
Je visite une église orthodoxe, je mets deux bougies. A midi je prends un capuccino et deux crêpes aux chocolats et chantilly. Ensuite je rentre a l'hôtel.

Levée 6h30 go ti dej a 7h. A 8h30 taxi go la clinique, a 9h30 mon chir-dentiste de bordeaux le doc Olivier Aumain me demande si je suis prête, holala j'ai la trouille, j'aurai bien aime être endormie entièrement mais le doc ne veut pas.
On démarre le cote droit piqure anesthésiante holala ca pique. Ce cote c'est celui qui l'embête le plus.je n'ai pas assez d'os. Il ouvre la gencive. il prévoit 3 trous il regarde en permanence la tomographie (scanner en moins irradiant)
Pour percer les trous il a une espèce de pointe crocheté. Quand le trou est amorcé il prend sa perceuse, c'est horrible la sensation.
Il met l'implant avec quelques coups de marteau, affreux dans LA TETE IL Y A TOUT QUI BRANLE. ENFIN IL VISSE AVEC UNE ESPECE DE CLEF COMME CELLE QUE L'ON A AVEC LES MEUBLES iKEA.
Voila l'implant finit. L'EMMERDEMENT TANT REDOUTE ARRIVE, pour l’implant du fond il manque 1 millimètre et demi, donc l'implant ressort de la mâchoire, alors le doc pousse la poche sinusoïdale pour que l'implant s'installe. Un travaille d'artiste. Voila c'est réussi.
Maintenant on attaque le cote gauche ou j'avais eu la greffe, impeccable cette greffe du béton ma mâchoire en synthétique et cochon.
Vers 11h20 il me dit C'est finit, même pas deux heures OUF, bien sur avant il a tout raccommodé, j'ai plein de fil.
Il faudra que j'aille le voir dans une quinzaine de jours, il enlèvera les fils. Et surtout control. Je ne sais pas si je vais a Ruelle ou Bordeaux.
Ensuite c’est le doc Roumain qui s’occupe d’adapter mon râtelier, car ma bouche à changer avec les implants.
Pendant ce temps je vais a la radio pano, bien je me goure il fallait tourner a gauche j’ai tourné a droite, je suis perdue, je demande mon chemin, un gentil Roumain me prend la main et m’emmène. Ils sont cro mignons les roumains. Je fais une pose a mon hôtel manger une purée.
After je retourne à la clinique. Je récupère ma facture :

6 implants en titane biotech 3000€ (500€ l’implant) les tarifs en France sont d’environ 1500€ l’implant, sans la pose, moi la pause es comprise.

Maintenant ce qui me chagrine c’est le temps de cicatrisation, a cause de mon implant merdique ou il n’y a pas assez d’os il va falloir compter 8 mois, avant que je retourne en Roumanie pour mettre mes belles dents. Passer un hiver à Chabanais cela me gave.
Si je résume je vais pouvoir reprendre mon sac a dos dans un an et demi, c'est-à-dire septembre 2012.

J’ai super bien dormi, Je retourne dans l’église orthodoxe, c’est bizarre je ressens dans mon corps les mêmes ondes que dans certain temple bouddhistes. Cela m’apaise, je vais accepter encore ce temps d’attente avant de pouvoir repartir sur les routes du monde.
Quand je reviendrais en janvier 2012, je ferais plus de tourisme car il faudra que je reste environ deux semaines, avec les différentes empreintes et contrôle de mes jolies dents.
C’est l’invasion des shops Smartphones Orange Vodafone etc… C’est comme chez nous il vende le Smartphone a 0 lei avec forfait.

Au prix de la clinique il faut ajouter 200€ d’avion, bus, taxi en France. Moi j’ai dépensé 300 € en plus dans les clopes parfums souvenirs etc..

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.
After all that, and even though I’ll obviously contact the relevant authorities in each country (fingers crossed for a response 😛), here’s my question:

I have several chronic conditions (including asthma and related ones), and I’m planning to travel for a year across different countries.
Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...
