Hi there,

We're leaving soon, but it’ll be the same itinerary you’ll follow when we return. The stopovers are already on your blog. I’ll check the stopovers we did with CFC from 31/03/25 to 11/04/25 to see if I can give you any extra info beyond what’s shared on this site. Mum49

Hello,

Stopovers made with CFC. Lysekil (Sweden): For those who can walk, the town center is about a 10-15 minute walk. Otherwise, there are free shuttles that take you into the city; there are 2 stops, the first for those who want to walk along the waterfront and the second stop at City Center. A beautiful church to see as well as a very old house. There’s a neighborhood with old wooden houses from the 16th/17th century.

OSLO: port at City Center. There are "hop-on/hop-off" buses right at the foot of the ship, as well as a boat that does a 1-hour tour of the fjord for about 42 €. Just before boarding the ship again, there’s a big tent with souvenirs, clothes, etc., and don’t forget to ask for the tax refund.

Kristiansand (Norway). Port at City Center. At the exit of the port, free distribution of the city map. There’s a little train that only runs in the morning until 1 p.m. for our stopover: 15 €. Credit cards accepted. Easy to do everything on foot. The Cathedral only opened at 11 a.m. There’s also the fortress to see and the neighborhood with wooden houses. On the main street, whose name I’ve forgotten, there’s a souvenir shop, clothes, etc., where you can pay in euros and get the tax refund. Zeebrugge Right at the exit of the port, just across the street, there’s a small shop with souvenirs. We stayed on board since we already knew Bruges.

Hi there, Here’s the info I can share with you.

Stopover in MALAGA: MSC offered a day-long bus ticket for 14 €. Since the port was too far from the city for me to walk, I took this ticket because I wanted to head out early in the morning given the expected heat. On my return, my husband told me that a City Sightseeing bus had arrived at the foot of the ship as early as 10 AM. There were several departures.

MAHON: Disembarkation by tender or port boats (around 200/250 passengers) with a 10-minute crossing.

ALICANTE: Free shuttle bus to enter/exit the port. Be careful—there’s a little train that does the same route for 5 €. Visit to Santa Barbara Castle: 2.70 € for the elevator, and free for those over 65 with ID. Just before the entrance, there’s a free fresh-water dispenser. Gorgeous 360-degree view of Alicante.
