Sachant que ce produit n'est pas donné, connaissez-vous des adresses de Pharmacie proposant un prix raisonnable en Seine-Saint-Denis (93) ?
Je ne suis pas Médecin mais je partirai pour la 5eme fois en Thaïlande cet hiver avec femme et enfants.
Nous n'avons jamais pris ces produits. Sauf à aller dans l'extrême nord à la frontière birmane, il n'y a plus vraiment de pb de palu en Thailande.
Un simple antimoustique acheté sur place (bcp mois cher et plus efficace) me parait largement suffisant.
Maintenant, pour les questions de santé, chacun doit prendre et assumer ses risques...

Renaudsechet a voulu parler des ventes sauvages de Malarone sur Internet, totalement illégales , avec les risques de contrefaçons dangereuses, et sans contrôle médical des risques. Il y en a sur ce forum.
Il s'est trompé de cible, car votre recherche est celle d'une pharmacie dans un cadre parfaitement sûr et légal. Je comprends cependant son énervement, dont il faut l'excuser.
Le spécialiste pour votre question est Skito (faites une recherche)
Si tu vas a chiang mai, j ai bcp aime le papy qui tient les musee des insectes. il est enthomologiste ou epidemiologiste, je ne suis plus tres sur, en tout cas il a consacre une partie de sa vie a travailler pour le ministere de la sante publique de thailande sur la recherche sur la malaria
en discutant avec lui tu comprendras peut etre que la malarone est probablement superflue pour toi:
ce que j ai retenu de ses dires, c est qu a moins d aller en treks extremes dans les forets frontalieres avec la birmanie, le laos et le cambodge, tes chances de croiser un moustique vecteur du palu sont quasi nulles
j ai malgre tout dans d autres voyages deja ete amene a acheter de la malarone, le prix d une pharmacie a l autre etait quasi standard, mais il est vrai que je n ai jamais acheté ca en seine saint denis, c est peut etre un endroit special pour les pharmacies...
par contre, tes chances d etre confronte a des aedes vecteurs de la dengue sont bcp plus elevees, pour ta santé, ainsi que pour ton confort, use et abuse des repulsifs, que tu trouveras partout en thailande pour des prix de l ordre d un euro voire moins: je me balade toujours la bas comme chez moi en guadeloupe ou ailleurs sous les tropiques avec un petit pulverisateur dans la poche. les petits contenants sont pratiques a trimbaler au quotidien et passent sans probleme les controles sur les liquides dans les aeroports
en thailande on trouve aussi des produits repulsifs pour impregner moustiquaires et vetements, la aussi tres bon marche, et efficaces
Bonsoir, comme les autres, je ne prends pas de traitement antipaludéen pour aller en Thailande, mais pour aller en Afrique, j'ai acheté ma malarone à la pharmacie de la place Monge, Paris 5, environ 40% moins cher que partout ailleurs. Adresse très connue et pas si loin du 93.

si tu relis bien, il n y a peut etre pas de divergences, plutot des nuances subtiles
le risque est tres faible en thailande, mais pas de risque zero, il y a encore des cas de palu observes en thailande, mais ca se localise plutot dans les forets humides, plutot aux frontieres (beaucoup moins d actions preventives historiquement dans les pays alentours).
D autre part, sur le net tu pourras trouver des infos plus completes sur les moyens de limiter les risques: Les femelles anophèles se nourrissent de préférence la nuit, et commencent à chercher leur repas au crépuscule, en continuant pendant la nuit jusqu'à ce qu'elles l'aient trouvé, elles sont plus nombreuses et plus actives a certaines saisons, dans certaines conditions climatiques
comme je t ai deja dit, les moustiques vehiculent plusieurs types de saloperies (Dengue (surtout), mais aussi Chikungunya, Encephalite japonaise et Filariose et meme des cas recents de fievre jaune, dont l asie etait pourtant indemne jusqu a recemment), et limiter les piqures est la premieres des protections
j ai passer de nombreux mois en thailande et je n ai jamais rien chopé, sans doute la chance, alliée avec les repulsifs, les tshirts a manche longues, les pantalons longs, les chaussettes, les moustiquaires, les ventilateurs, les clims, les diffuseurs electriques et mes jambes qui me permettent de ne jamais rester dans un coin quand ca bourdonne un peu trop
c'est mon "fournisseur" aussi; pas trouvé moins cher en IDF
mais je n'utilise pas pour la Thailande; par contre, on peut y acheter aussi des répulsifs à bon prix ; je conseillerai à notre voyageur d'acheter un spray vêtement et sur place d'aller dans un Seven pour les sprays peau

We're about to go on an organized trip to South Africa, including Kruger Park. We were told that Malarone should preferably be taken in the evening at the same time during a meal. But it's hard to know what time we'll have dinner, especially since I've read that in South Africa, dinner is usually around 6 PM.
I'd love to hear from people who've been on organized trips to this destination and could share their experience. We were thinking of taking Malarone around 7:30 PM, assuming dinner would be closer to 7 PM than 6 PM. Also, if the meal ends up being earlier or later than when we take the pill, would a cookie or a piece of bread be enough to take with Malarone?
I’m planning to set off on a "round-the-world" trip/long journey at the start of next year, lasting between 4.5 and 6 months. For now, the itinerary looks like this: South Korea (2 weeks) -> Japan (1 month) -> New Zealand (1 month) -> Argentina (1 month) -> United States (1 month).
I’m on medication (paroxetine 20 mg/day) and was hoping to bring enough for the entire trip so I wouldn’t have to find a doctor on the spot, deal with a molecule that might be slightly different from what’s available in France, or wonder if that’s even a possibility. Basically, it seemed simpler on paper...
But after looking into the regulations for each country, it’s suddenly way less simple . Many seem to only allow the amount corresponding to the length of your "stay" in the country... Which is a problem if I arrive in Korea with 4.5 months’ worth of medication, for example.

I have several chronic conditions (including asthma and related ones), and I’m planning to travel for a year across different countries.
Generally, I understand it’s possible to travel with approved medications (which should be my case), but often with a limit of 3 months’ worth of treatment.
Since I’m going for 12 months, that means for three-quarters of my trip, I’d have more than 3 months’ worth of medication.
I plan to bring my prescriptions with the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), as well as the original packaging (even though it’s a nightmare, but from what I understand, it’s necessary). But I’m not sure if that’s enough...
