nous desirons partir a marrakech (4 personnes) 1 semaine du 5 au 12 avril pour des vacances farnientes et nous visons donc un bon hotel sans dépasser notre budget ( max 500 vol+hotel par personne)
j'ai pu voir qu'avril pouvait etre très demandé a cause des vacances scolaires et du bon climat.

Pour le vol je ne puis que vous conseiller de réserver de suite......les last minutes sur le Maroc n'existent pas....du moins pas avec EasyJet et c'est souvent les moins chers....mais avec d'autres compagnies ce sera éa même chose.
Le Maroc est très prisé donc les prix montent surtout lors des vacances scolaires !
Pour l'hôtel c'est un peu pareil, même si vous avez encore le loisir de chercher sur le Net ce qui vous convient le mieux.....pour les hôtels avec piscine ce sont les plus chers (votre budget est très limité) et les riads avec "piscine" aussi ....rares sont ceux qui ont une piscine chauffée....renseignez-vous bien. Vous risquez de payer cher pour avoir une piscine....et ne pas pouvoir vous y baigner.
En avril les nuits sont encore fraïches et dans les riads les bassins sont souvent à l'ombre....donc ne chauffent pas facilement.
Pour se baigner il vaut mieux s'y rendre en juin ou juillet.....ou aller en bord de mer : Agadire ou Assaouoira
Marrakech n'ets pas vraiment la destination de rêve pour la bronzette !

Tu plaisantes? dire qu'il n'est pas énorme bon à la rigueur mais TRES limité....En voyage organisé qui est très cher et pas nécessaire pour Marrakech, on trouve sans souci pour avril des semaines à - de 400€ all incluse et dans des 5 étoiles réputé...
Si on s'organise soit même, on peut pour le même budget se loger en ville car la totalité des club et riyad all incluse sont dans la palmeraie, loin du centre ville et c'est là avec les sorties que le budget saute..
On trouve aussi à 250€ pour un 3 étoiles...
et je te conseil de t'inscrire sur le site de Oogolo, ou tu as quasi toutes les semaines des prix dernières minutes sur le Maroc....
je dis comme olivier, 500 euro hors vols, c'est un bon budget sympa..... tu vas pas à la Mamounia, c'est sur mais .....😎 quand même, on a de quoi se faire un joli séjour.
Sinon, quand tu dis 4 personnes c'est 4 adultes? ou avec tes 2 enfants? et qu'attends tu de Marrakech? allez en ville tous les jours, manger en ville et vous débrouiller le + possible, ou arrivé les pieds sous la table et juste se reposer, peu importe la vie marocaine?
Je demande juste ça car en fait, y a vraiment un choix à faire en fonction de ton choix...
Si tu veux juste te reposer, glander à la piscine et aller voir un coup par ci par là la ville....prends une formule all incluse dans la palmeraie, y a vraiment de très bas prix et pour les avis, tu regarde l'hôtel et tu files sur tripavidsor, ( ne lire que les avis négatifs, c'est plus constructif)...
Par contre si tu es là pour découvrir l'âme de la ville et voir découvrir tout en se reposant....prend sans hésitation un riyad de la médina....que tu réserves par net...prend tes billets d'avion...y a un bus le 19 qui va de l’aéroport à la médina pour une pièce, retour aussi direct...des billets à petit prix suivant d'ou tu pars

Pour la piscine, en début avril, il se peut que tu ne puisses pas l'utiliser, j'ai souvenir il y a 2 ou 3 ans d'avoir eu un début avril très frais et pluvieux...la piscine n'aurait servi à rien...ne te focalise pas que la dessus...ou choisi une piscine chaufée ou d'intérieur si vraiment c'est obligatoire pour toi...
Amoureux de la découverte, je me sens obligé de te conseiller la 2 ème solution...Marrakech est une ville facile..
entre ambiance danse des canards et des 1001 nuits, faut pas hésiter, crois moi...
Mais pour le charme, je te conseil comme l'a dit mendouga de quand même réserver au plus vite possible et surtout pour les billets d'avion en vols secs...
Un aller-retour à - de 100€ c'est largement faisable et achète le avant 2014 car il va sans doute y avoir une nouvelle taxe sur les billets d'avion pour le bled...Si tu as un vol low cost comme rayanair ou eaysy ou jet4you etc etc...le prix du sac à dos est parfois pas donné, pour une semaine pas besoin d'un gros sac de routard...deux gros sacs + celui de la cabine pour 4 peut suffire...
Pour info, ton budget est le même que le mien avec ma femme si je devais y passer 3 mois tout compris en y allant en voiture ( 600€ rien que l'aller retour)....et il ne suffira même pas pour 3 jours si tu comptes faire la foire tous les soirs...Marrakech, est pour tous les budgets, du clodo à la princesse😛

a partir de Marrakech, plein de possibilités de visites alentour (même une journée à Essaouira, c'est possible, aller-retour en bus de qualité), l'atlas est à 60 km, ...

oui j'ai oublié de préciser je pars avec mon frère et mes parents donc tous adultes, entre 25 et 60ans.
du coup j'ai déjà acheté les billets pour 141e par personnes (564 au total) que j'ai faillis obtenir pour 100e/personne mais sur opodo au moment de finaliser ils annonçaient 400e + 210 euros de frais de traitement car cb visa, je n'avais jamais vu sa😠 (bug?)...

on trouve vraiment à tous les prix ..... tout dépend de ce qu'on veut comme séjour.
"Babeth et azziz", ça manque de description précise.... quid des toilettes/douches particulières ou pas ? à ce prix ça doit l'être.
perso, je mets peu dans l'hôtel pour dépenser autrement. mais vraiment c'est très personnel.
Le "problème" c'est que c'est 500€ avec le vol ! Bon il semble que notre ami ait suivi mes conseils et déjà réservé les vols pour +- 150€ c'est un bon prix....!
Avec les 350€ restant il y a de quoi faire....mais bon si vous prévoyez encore d'aller jusqu'à Ouarzazte (location de voiture, repas, visites) il faut au moins 2 ou 3 jours....le budget va déjà fondre...,
Sinon il va falloir choisir entre hôtel 3* en ville nouvelle avec piscine (chauffée ???) il y a parfois des prix intéressants - ou sinon un petit riad dans la medina.......(pour 350€ on devrait trouver un riad entier pour 4 !) ou des chambres dans un riad moyen mais confortable (sans piscine) simple près de la place Jmââ et fna.....et il reste de la marge pour manger, boire des jus d'orange, aller au hammam (remplacera la piscine !) et - pourquoi pas- une soirée ChezALi pour le spectacle....

Instead, I suddenly stopped getting replies from the three or four people I’d contacted. So now I’m wondering about the reception former Pieds-Noirs can expect...

- Does it need to cover the entire duration of the trip?
- Is this document mandatory for a hotel to rent a room?
- Is it checked during inspections?
- Is a hotel booking (e.g., via Booking.com) sufficient for the visa?
- If so, does it need to be paid in advance?
I plan to visit several cities and do one or more treks with a guide or agency.

I’d like to do a route that’s a bit different from my first stay, which was more focused on cities and culture (Tunis, Sousse, Kairouan, El Jem).
I’ll be getting around by public transport.
I’d like to head south toward Tozeur, and I saw that you can take a *louage* from Monastir to Sbeitla (2h30). I imagine it’s not too complicated to get to Tozeur from there afterward? The issue is the return trip to Monastir and safety in Sbeitla.
If this route seems too complicated, I might opt for Djerba instead, which looks simpler.

Day 8: Stop in Meknes and possibly visit the historic site of Volubilis
Day 9-10: Rabat (I’ve heard mixed things... some good, some bad)
After that, I have the choice of heading back to Tangier for my return flight... or going down to Agadir (also a possible return flight) and extending my trip by 5 days :)
From what I can tell, everything is well connected by bus (CTM) or train (ONCF).
Another question: Is the vibe in Moroccan youth hostels for meeting people the same as what you’d find in Western Europe?

(though there are fraudulent sites out there). On the official site, they ask for legitimate info
(name, nationality, etc.). What made me go "hmm" was the request for both an email address
AND a password (with confirmation). Is this normal?

A lot of people find it important to stick to their budget when traveling—not to skimp, but to visit as many places as possible since traveling is their hobby.
In this post, I want to share some tips for those coming to Morocco who want their trip to be budget-friendly.
1. Prebook everything: hotels or riads, car rentals, or tours. If you book these in advance, it’ll make your life easier. You won’t have to deal with hagglers or people trying to overcharge you for services that are available online for free. Use platforms like Booking, Expedia, carsrental.ma, Airbnb, and other booking services to get this done properly.
2. Exchange your money to Moroccan dirhams as soon as you land. 1 € is always a little over 10 dirhams, but many people get charged as if it were exactly 10 dirhams per euro.
3. When visiting an old site or the old medina, avoid talking to vendors and shop owners—they’re really good at getting your attention and making you overpay for things.
4. Ask your tour guide to buy things for you. Yes, they do get a commission, but you’ll probably pay way more if you buy something yourself that they can get cheaply.
5. Walk everywhere. You don’t need a taxi for every little trip. Pick a good location and walk—most Moroccan cities are safe during normal hours.
6. Buy your food, drinks, etc., from supermarkets at normal prices. They can’t overcharge you since they scan every product.

I’m planning my next trip outside Europe for next year, but unfortunately, I don’t have a choice with the dates—it’s late June to early July. Last year, I went to Japan for three weeks, and it was constantly 36-37°C with over 90% humidity. It wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t impossible either.
For Egypt, I know it’s a period to avoid if possible, but I’m thinking that by the sea, it might be manageable. Otherwise, I’ll consider another destination.

Day 5: Hurghada, then drive to Luxor in the early afternoon

For the Hurghada trip, either rent a car or—easier—a private car/van.
